Chelsea determined to sign Elliot Anderson?

Chelsea are increasingly ambitious about signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson at the end of the campaign, according to Fichajes in Spain.
The Blues have one of the best midfield partnerships in the Premier League in the form of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. However, they are lacking a proper backup with Romeo Lavia being injury-prone.
The west London giants want a strong competitor for a starting spot and reports claim that Anderson has been identified as the perfect fit for manager Enzo Maresca for the 2026/27 season and beyond.
Anderson has been in exemplary form for club and country this term and he has been identified as a priority target for Premier League rivals Manchester United too.
The Blues could be set for a bidding battle with the Red Devils for the 23-year-old, who has made eight recoveries and won eight duels per league game this term.
Anderson could be signed for a package of around £80 million.
