Arne Slot confirms massive Liverpool injury boost

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed a massive injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest this weekend.
The Reds made the perfect start to the Premier League campaign with five wins, but have since picked up just three points from six games.
The massive downfall has coincided with Alisson's absence due to a hamstring injury, but the Brazilian is expected to return against Forest.
Speaking in today's pre-match presser, Slot said: "Alisson has trained well. If there are no issues, he will play tomorrow."
The news is a massive boost for the Merseyside giants, who can't afford any more slip-ups if they want to try and defend their league title.
Liverpool are already eight points behind league leaders Arsenal, and need a long winning run in order to try and reduce that deficit.
The Reds take on Forest at Anfield tomorrow. This will be followed by another home game against PSV in the Champions League.
