Henrique eyeing Arsenal move

Brazilian winger Luiz Henrique has publicly admitted that he has the dream of playing in the Premier League with Arsenal in the future.

The 24-year-old is presently in the ranks of Zenit St Petersburg whom he joined from Brazilian side Botafogo in January last year.

Henrique has been touted to move to England for some time, and he has now opened the door by revealing his dream to play for Arsenal.

He told Globo: "I want to honour my contract at Zenit, but my dream is to play in England one day, play in the UCL.

"Since as a kid I wanted to. There’s a team there that I really like, Arsenal. People say I’m made to play there."

Henrique has four goal contributions from 17 appearances for Zenit this season. He is primarily a right-sided winger who can play on the left.

Arsenal have Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri as solutions for the role, and don't require another signing.

It would come as a huge surprise if they contemplate another recruit for the position. They are most likely to pursue a marquee left winger next year.
