Man Utd goalkeeper eager to leave in January

Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is eager to leave the club when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Turkey international started the campaign as the first-choice goalkeeper in the Premier League ahead of summer signing Senne Lammens.
However, he was displaced from the role soon after. Bayindir made a couple of high-profile errors which allowed Lammens to replace him.
Lammens has since been ever-present between the sticks, and Bayindir is now desperate to move on from the Red Devils for first-team football.
Bayindir started for Turkey in the recent World Cup qualifier against Spain. His country could yet qualify for the tournament via the play-offs.
The former Fenerbahce man is aware that he needs regular first-team action in the first half of 2026 in order to retain a starting role for Turkey.
United have no replacement for Bayindir at the moment. They may want a solid backup signed before permitting his mid-season departure.
