Man Utd without six players vs Villa

Manchester United will be without six players for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on the road on Sunday.

The Red Devils recently played out a thrilling 4-4 league draw against Bournemouth, and missed out on the chance to go within goal difference of fourth-placed Chelsea.

They now face a daunting challenge against the Villans at Villa Park. Ahead of the contest, manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that there is no positive news on the injury front.

Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt have yet to recover from their respective injuries, while Casemiro is suspended for the game.

Noussair Mazraoui, Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo won't be involved due to their participation at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

United will go into Sunday's game as slight underdogs, and this could play in their favour, given they tend to step up in the big matches.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in the last six meetings against the Midlands outfit. They have picked up five victories with one stalemate.
