Man Utd star set to agree contract with huge paycut

Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire is set to commit his future to the Red Devils by signing a new long-term contract beyond the summer.

The England international had a tough first half of the season with the Red Devils and he was sidelined for some period with a hamstring issue.

Since his return, the centre-back has barely put a foot wrong. Under interim boss Michael Carrick, he has been ever-present in the heart of the defence.

Maguire's current £190,000 per week deal expires at the end of June and reports claim that he is ready to pen fresh terms with a huge salary cut.

The Englishman has offers from the Saudi Pro League, but he is determined to see out the final phase of his playing career with the Mancunian giants.

United are already working on the final details of the contract, and there will be an announcement made before the season formally concludes.

While Maguire will stay put, Casemiro is confirmed to depart. The Brazilian is set to leave the Red Devils when his deal ends on June 30.
