Manchester United have no interest in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare during the summer transfer window, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are expected to bolster their holding midfield department in the summer and have been linked with multiple names over the past few weeks.
Sangare has been one of the names mentioned but Romano has clarified that United have no interest in the Ivory Coast star and are not exploring a move for him.
Instead, United are keeping tabs on his teammate Elliot Anderson instead, who has been in tremendous form since moving to Forest from Newcastle United.
Anderson was under the club's consideration at the start of the campaign, but the club did not have the budget, having spent plenty of the attacking department.
The focus will be primarily on defensive options this summer and Anderson could emerge as a top target for the Red Devils when the transfer window reopens.
