Chelsea want to sign Roggerio Nyakossi

Chelsea are keen on signing OH Leuven centre-back Roggerio Nyakossi during the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for the Belgian outfit and recently played a big part in them avoiding relegation from the top-flight.

Nyakossi will enter the final year of his contract this summer and reports claim that Leuven are preparing to part ways with the Swiss ace.

Marseille have a buy-back clause on the player's contract, but the French outfit would still need to agree on personal terms with the defender.

In case they don't, it could open the door for the Blues to land his services. The London giants are eager to bring Nyakossi to the Premier League.

It is reported that a package of around £8 million could be sufficient to prise the centre-back away from Leuven in the next transfer window.

Chelsea are set for another busy summer. They are expected to stick with manager Liam Rosenior even if they don't qualify for the Champions League.
