Man Utd handed huge injury boost for Leeds game

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United at Old Trafford later this month.

The Red Devils are presently third in the league standings with 55 points, seven ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea. They look on course to qualify for next season's Champions League but can't take things for granted.

Ahead of Leeds' visit, the club have received a timely boost with Lisandro Martinez back on the grass after a calf injury that has ruled him out for the past month. He is focused on making his return against Leeds.

United suffered a setback against Bournemouth last time around with Harry Maguire picking up a red card. With him suspended, Martinez could be fast-tracked to partner Leny Yoro in the heart of the defence.

The club have a quality young deputy in the form of Ayden Heaven, but manager Michael Carrick may prefer to rely on the experience of Martinez from the start. Heaven could come on as a substitute.
