Chelsea star signs new contract until June 2033

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has committed his future to the Blues with a new long-term contract until June 2033.

The west London giants have had a difficult league campaign, and they are presently sixth in the standings with just 48 points.

The club are four points behind fifth-placed Liverpool and face the possibility of missing out on the Champions League next term.

This could lead to a potential selling spree with some key players leaving, but Caicedo won't be one of those heading out soon.

Caicedo has today committed to a new long-term deal with the Blues, and he is now formally contracted to them until June 2033.

The midfielder has been linked with some of Europe's elite clubs, including Real Madrid, but has ended speculation with a fresh deal.

While he is expected to stay with the west London giants, his teammate Enzo Fernandez could be on his way out in the summer.

He has yet to be convinced to sign an improved deal.
