Arsenal & Man Utd want to sign Brazilian star

Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on landing the signature of Atalanta midfielder Ederson during the summer transfer window, according to reputed journalist David Ornstein.

The Brazil international has been a key player for the Serie A outfit over the past few years, but he is expected to leave the Bergamo club at the end of the current campaign.

His present deal expires in June next year, and Ornstein reports that the player's agent is working hard behind the scenes to secure a summer exit.

Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in landing the 26-year-old ace, while Atletico Madrid are likewise keen on the versatile midfielder.

Ederson, who can operate as a defensive or central midfielder, is open to pursuing a new challenge in the Premier League or La Liga this summer.

A final decision could be made based on playing-time guarantees. Atalanta are eyeing at least £44 million to part ways with the talented ace.
