Villarreal to sign Altidore

Spanish giants Villarreal are set to swoop for American young superstar Jozy Altidore. The MLS forward has been long linked with a move to Europe.

It seems that Villarreal are set to offer $10 million to ensure that Altidore comes to Europe and joins the Champions League bound Villarreal.

The Yellow Submarines are reportedly set to splash over £30 million on new players this summer, and the acquisition of Altidore; regarded as one of the brightest American prospects of all time; is a rather big signal of their intent.
