Joao Pedro makes Chelsea transfer decision

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro has his sights on staying with the Blues despite interest from Barcelona, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Brazilian signed for the Blues from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer and has made 20 goal contributions in the Premier League this term.

Pedro's form and progress have seen him linked with the Blaugrana in recent weeks. They see him as an alternative to Julian Alvarez to lead the line.

However, a deal does not appear likely to materialise, given the Blues are adamant that they won't entertain any bids for the talented attacker.

Furthermore, Pedro is also content with his stay in the English capital. He first arrived at Watford due to his dream of playing in the Premier League.

He plans to continue in the English top-flight and looks poised to turn down any advances from Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.

Barcelona will need to look elsewhere to bolster their attack this summer.
