Timber to return in UCL final?

Arsenal right-back Jurrien Timber could be deemed fit ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest next weekend.

The Dutchman has been nursing a nagging groin problem since the last international break, but he has an outside chance to make the squad against Les Parisiens.

Timber has been going through individual training sessions, and could have a couple with the team next week before the all-important European final on Saturday.

Arsenal have a huge challenge on their hands against PSG and the Ligue 1 giants are widely considered as the clear-cut favourites to beat the Gunners to the European crown.

However, the Gunners have shown strong defensive resolve and will be determined to spring a surprise and win their maiden Champions League title in Budapest.

Timber's return to the squad would be a timely boost, but it is unlikely that the Dutchman will make the starting XI. He could make a cameo appearance off the bench.
