Barcelona planning fresh bid for Man Utd attacker

Barcelona are prepared to negotiate fresh terms to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal, according to Sport.
The England international signed for the Blaugrana from the Red Devils on loan last summer, and he fared brilliantly in the 2025/26 season with 14 goals and 14 assists across all competitions.
The Catalan giants have an option to buy him for £26 million this summer, but they are not in a position to pay the entire fee in one payment due to Financial Fair Play issues with La Liga.
Hence, the clause is not expected to be triggered, and the Blaugrana are indeed planning to negotiate a long-term payment plan with the Red Devils for the 28-year-old in the coming days.
United have previously snubbed the possibility of negotiating on the price, but may end up doing so, given that Rashford is adamant on joining Barcelona on a long-term basis this summer.
He is unlikely to entertain bids from any other club.
