UCL club to sign Man Utd star for just £24m?

Galatasaray have made an approach to sign Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte for a knockdown price this summer.

The Uruguayan has had a difficult career with the Red Devils, and he played second fiddle to Casemiro for the no.6 role last season.

Casemiro is on his way out on a free transfer, but Ugarte is still expected to leave the Red Devils after being deemed surplus to requirements.

It is now reported that Gala have initiated contact with United for the experience ace and want to secure his services on a permanent deal.

The Super Lig club have high ambitions for next term and are eager to make further progress in the knockout stage of the Champions League.

Ugarte has been identified as an ideal target for the Turkish outfit and United could be prepared to accept a cut-price deal for his transfer.

United signed him for £42m upfront from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, but sanction his sale for just £24, as per reports.
