Man City make £120m bid to sign Elliot Anderson

Manchester City have made a staggering £120 million bid to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson this summer, as per David Ornstein.
The Cityzens are determined to bring in a marquee midfielder this summer and they have earmarked Anderson as the number one target.
It is now revealed that Man City have offered £106m upfront for the 23-year-old with a further £14m in the form of add-ons to the Tricky Trees.
However, the proposal has been immediately rejected. Forest want £125m as a fixed fee with potential bonuses to part ways with his services.
Man City are not planning a fresh offer for the midfielder.
Manchester United have also been linked with the Newcastle graduate, but they don't seem to be lining up an approach as things stand.
With the hefty price tag set by Forest, it seems unlikely that Anderson will depart and he could well stay for another 12 months at least.
Anderson is presently with England at the World Cup and he is expected to line up alongside Declan Rice in the heart of their midfield.
