Bournemouth ready to sign Arsenal winger?

Bournemouth are prepared to make a formal bid for Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard in the coming weeks, according to The Daily Mail.

The Belgian has been a key player for the Gunners, and he made 19 goal contributions last campaign. However, he struggled with his form in the back end of the season with just two goal involvements.

The 31-year-old's current deal expires in June next year and reports claim that the former Brighton & Hove Albion could be shown the exit door soon.

Besiktas have expressed an interest in the experienced winger, but they could face competition from the Cherries in the pursuit of the Belgian.

Trossard is said to be open to pursuing a new challenge away from Arsenal. He feels his chapter is closed after winning the Premier League title.

Alongside Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli could head for the exit door too. His current deal expires in June next year, but there is a 12-month extension clause.
