Bournemouth star wants to join Chelsea

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has his sights set on joining Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window, according to Standard Sport.

The England youth international has been a key player for the Cherries, but he has his sights on a new challenge away from the South Coast outfit.

Scott has turned down a new contract beyond June 2028 and reports claim that he is eager to make the switch to Chelsea in the coming days.

Chelsea have already had an opening bid worth £64m turned down for the 22-year-old and they are likely to make a renewed approach soon.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, insist that the Englishman is going nowhere even if he snubs the opportunity to extend his stay with a clause.

The Cherries will be competing in the Europa League next campaign and seem determined to keep hold of their key players for the season.

Their stance is the same on Junior Kroupi and Rayan.
