Arsenal ready to battle for Spurs for Leipzig star

Arsenal are set to compete with Tottenham Hotspur for the services of RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa this summer.

The Gunners have already strengthened their left wing with Christos Tzolis but they are aiming to land another solution.

Arsenal have made Gabriel Martinelli available for sale and his departure could coincide with another summer arrival.

It is now claimed by The Sun that Arsenal are weighing up a move for Nusa and could go head-to-head with Spurs for him.

Nusa had an average season with Leipzig, with just five goals and four assists from 35 appearances across all competitions.

His performances were not top-notch for Norway at the World Cup either, though he scored a sublime long-range goal versus the Ivory Coast.

Nusa is open to pursuing a new challenge in the coming weeks, but he won't come on the cheap with Leipzig firm on their demands.

The Bundesliga outfit are holding out for at least £51 million.
