Man Utd make transfer decision on Alejandro Balde

Manchester United have no desire to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde before the transfer window closes, according to Sport in Spain.

The Red Devils are in the transfer market for a new left-back, and it has been claimed that Newcastle United's Lewis Hall is a prime target for them.

However, the Magpies are adamant that he won't be leaving the club and are already negotiating terms over a new long-term contract with him.

Amidst this, it has been reported that United are in contact with Balde's agent, but Sport insist that the speculation has no substance at the moment.

United are aware of the player's intention to leave the Spanish champions, but have not made any kind of contact with the Blaugrana this month.

Balde could still leave the Blaugrana. Benfica and Aston Villa are emerging as possible destinations for the La Masia graduate before the deadline.

Barcelona want a package between £34-39m for the 22-year-old.
