Chelsea star gives green light for Man City transfer

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has given the green light to join Manchester City during the ongoing transfer window, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Argentine has been linked with a move away from the Blues for the past few months, and he could move on before the transfer deadline on September 1.
Fernandez was a substitute in Chelsea's 3-2 Premier League win over Fulham yesterday, but manager Xabi Alonso refused to rule out his departure after the game.
It has now been revealed that the 25-year-old has said 'yes' to the Cityzens, and talks are expected soon between the clubs to secure an agreement on the transfer package.
Chelsea want around £120 million to sell the Argentine, but Man City remain optimistic of landing him for a lesser fee before the transfer window slams shut.
The Blues are likely to pursue a new central midfielder if Fernandez departs. Bournemouth's Alex Scott could re-emerge as a target in the near future.
