Chelsea want Bournemouth ace after Fernandez sale

Chelsea could turn their attention to landing Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott once Enzo Fernandez makes the switch to Manchester City.

Fernandez has been seeking a move away from the west London giants for a while, and he has already agreed on personal terms with the Cityzens.

Man City are yet to make a formal bid for the World Cup winner, but it is widely reported that a proposal could be made in the next 24 hours.

Amidst this, the Blues are already preparing a possible replacement and they are prepared to test Bournemouth's resolve with a huge transfer offer.

The Cherries have already rejected three bids from the Blues for Scott. The final offer of £65m plus £5m in add-ons did not convince them.

Chelsea are not prepared to give up on landing the Englishman. It may take at least £80m for the Cherries to contemplate his sale before the deadline.

Scott has already given the green light to join Chelsea.
