Man Utd keeping tabs on Real Betis striker

Manchester United are monitoring the progress of Real Betis striker Troy Parrott as they seek to bolster their centre-forward department this winter.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the campaign and they have picked up only seven points from as many Premier League matches.

Benjamin Sesko has been a big miss upfront with a shin injury recently and there is currently no proper return date for the Slovenian star.

Joshua Zirkzee is the back-up striker in the squad, but the Dutchman has been a fringe player for some time and could leave at the start of 2027.

Amidst this, United have been credited with an interest in Parrott, who netted 31 goals for AZ last season before his switch to Betis over the summer.

Parrott has netted only two goals for Betis in eight appearances this campaign, but recently fared well for Ireland with four goals in the Nations League.

It remains to be seen whether Betis entertain a mid-season sale.
