Barcelona in contact with Estevao's agents?

Barcelona are reportedly in contact with the representatives of Chelsea winger Estevao ahead of the New Year.

The Brazil international has had a difficult start to the season with the Blues, and he only recently made his first Premier League start.

Estevao was picked as an attacking midfielder against Manchester United, and he was one of the best players on the pitch on Saturday.

The youngster proved his credentials to manager Xabi Alonso, but this has not stopped speculation over his future before the turn of the year.

The Blaugrana are said to be in close contact with his entourage as they explore the possibility of landing him in January or next summer.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have no desire to part ways with the wonderkid and plan to keep hold of him for the long-term regardless of the manager.

Estevao is likely to keep his place in the starting XI when the Blues face bottom club Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this weekend.
