JJ Gabriel makes Man Utd transfer decision

Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel looks poised to join Real Madrid after turning down a scholarship deal with the Red Devils.

The 16-year-old has decided to pursue a new challenge away from Old Trafford, and he now sees his career in Spain with Madrid.

The youngster has been training in Barcelona in recent weeks, and he looks poised to join Madrid on a three-year professional contract.

Gabriel could commit his future to Los Blancos in the next few days, and it is claimed that United could send a legal notice to Madrid.

United have yet to de-register Gabriel from their academy squad, and they have refused to do the same until the end of the campaign.

If he were to depart, they would want a significant training compensation, which they are unlikely to receive at the current point in time.

Liverpool were previously ordered to pay £2.7m to Chelsea for Rio Ngumoha, and United may seek a similar compensation package.
