Queiroz to coach Portugal?
Man Utd number two Carlos Queiroz has been lined up as a potential successor to Luiz Felipe Scolari; who has been installed as the new coach of Chelsea. The Portuguese assistant to Ferguson has already been told the club will do anything to hang on to the player.
It is rumoured that Ferguson will be ready to offer Queiroz a new lucrative deal to stay at Man Utd, but the offer of taking control of his home land will be hard for the Man Utd number two to reject.
Scolari admitted before leaving the Portugal post that money was a big motivator for his decision to take charge of Chelsea, now Portugal are willing to part with more money to ensure that they appoint the right replacement for Scolari.
