No offers for Veloso yet

Sporting Lisbon have insisted that they have yet to receive any offers for talented midfielder Miguel Veloso yet. It is understsood that Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool are all interested in signing the Portuguese centre midfielder from Sporting this summer.

"We have not received any official offers for Miguel Veloso," a Sporting spokesman told skysports.com.

"The rumours appear each day in the press, but really Sporting do not know of any offers for our player."
