Ince cools Bentley rumours
Ince cools Bentley rumours
David Bentley will be staying at Blackburn, if new boss Paul Ince has anything to do with it. The former MK Dons boss, only appointed this summer; has cooled the speculation that Tottenham and Liverpool were lining up a move for the England international.
Earlier in the summer, there had been rumour that several of the Premiership's biggest sides had made £8 million offers for the Blackburn player. But Ince is keen to keep his man.
"There has been interest in David and why shouldn't there be, because he's a fantastic player," said Ince.
"But I made my position clear to David when I spoke to him last week.
"He came back for training on Monday and was smiling, and his attitude has been excellent ever since."
