Boro eye Carson move

Middlesbrough are eyeing a move for Liverpool sub goalkeeper Scott Carson. It is understood that the Engalnd international, who spent last year at Aston Villa, is willing to listen to any offers.

Now Middlesbrough have lodged an offer for Carson, in the hope that he could be the long term successor to Mark Schwarzer.

The Liverpool keeper may be allowed to leave for Boro for as little as £6 million, but Stoke City are also still interested in the talented shot stopper.
