Hamburg eye Olic stay

Hamburg want to keep striker Ivica Olic at the club, despite reported interest from other teams. The Croatian 29 year old had been linked with a move to Newcastle or Sunderland this January. Boss Martin Jol is keen on keeping the player, however.
"Ivica is very important to us," said Jol. "I don't want any of my top players to leave.
"He has the mentality that we need and of course we want to keep hold of him - and I have told the club this.
"Besides, Ivica was our top goalscorer last year."
