Hoffenheim eye Chimbonda?

Bundesliga hopefuls Hoffenheim are reportedly ready to bolster their defence in preparation for the second half of the season, by making an offer for Sunderland and former France international defender Pascal Chimbonda.
Chimbonda has endured a miserable start to life at Sunderland since arriving from Tottenham last year.
Now he could be prepared to make a move to Germany, and Hoffenheim are shock candidates for the player's signature.
However, Bayern Munich could also be interested in signing the right back, and there is also plenty of interest from several French clubs including Lyon.
