Man Utd manager Michael Carrick faces sack risk vs Fulham

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick faces the risk of being sacked after the Premier League clash against Fulham this weekend.

The Red Devils have had an average start to the Premier League, picking up just four points from their opening four games of the season.

They have since bowed out of the Carabao Cup, and the pressure is on Carrick to turn things around when United take on Fulham.

The Red Devils will travel to west London for Sunday's encounter and reports claim that anything less than a win could see Carrick sacked.

Carrick is aware of the precarious situation over his managerial career, and he is said to be optimistic about turning things around at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have had a dreadful start to the season with only one point, but that came through a goalless draw against Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

The Cottagers could have easily beaten the Reds. United therefore face a stern challenge against the London outfit on the road on Sunday.
