Aston Villa for Larsson?

Aston Villa are reportedly ready to sign Swedish striker Henrik Larsson. They are apparently set to trump Everton to sign the forward on a short term contract.

It is understood that Martin O'Neill is looking for a striker and he was rumoured to be ready to spend a considerable amount on a forward.

However, it seems he is ready to compete with Everton in order to make a move for the former Swedish international.

Larsson is apparently at a good level of fitness and ready for a return to the Premiership.
