Abbondanzieri for Lazio

Lazio are eyeing Getafe goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri. The Argentinian is considered one of the best goalkeepers in Spain and is highly experienced.

The 35 year-old would arrive at Lazio in January as their new No1 after a deal for River Plate's Juan Pablo Carrizo fell through due to passport difficulties.

Getafe are prepared to cash in on Abbondanzieri, with fellow Argentina international Oscar Ustari waiting in the wings to takeover.
