Chelsea's Bosingwa out for 3 months

Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa will be out of action for three months after undergoing surgery on his left knee. The player is not expected to reappear before February at the earliest.

"Chelsea Football Club can confirm that Jose Bosingwa underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this week. His recovery time will be approximately three months." said a statement on the Chelsea FC website.

Bosingwa had been linked with a move away from Chelsea last summer, with Bayern Munich one of his potential suitors.
