Aston Villa eye starlet Holzhauser

Aston Villa scouts have been watching young Austrian midfielder Raphael Holzhauser and are preparing a £1 million offer for the 18 year old.

The 6 foot 4 centre midfielder is currently playing for VfB Stuttgart's reserve side.

There has been talk that he would be promoted to the first team for the 2011-2012 season, but with Villa ready to offer such a large amount of money for the youngster, it is believed the player will be allowed to leave before getting the opportunity in the Stuttgart first team.
