QPR close in on DJ Campbell move

Queens Park Rangers are close to completing a move for Blackpool striker DJ Campbell after they matched the 1.25m GBP release clause in his contract.

The talented forward will be allowed to leave at that price as that activates the relegation release clause within his contract.

West Ham had also been linked with a move for the forward, but it appears QPR are set to win.
