Inter Milan locked in talks for Tevez deal
Inter Milan are locked in talks with Manchester City regarding a move for misfit striker Carlos Tevez. The Argentinian forward has been considering a move to AC Milan, but it appears that Inter are now front runners to land his coveted signature.
Club president Massimo Moratti admitted yesterday that Inter Milan are now in talks with Man City regarding a permanent transfer move, and that Inter Milan are ready to offer 18m GBP to bring the former Boca Juniors and Man United striker to the San Siro.
"If you do something you don't do it as a joke but because you think it can be a good operation," said Moratti.
"We've acquired information on how things are going, there's room to act, we'll see if we can do it or not.
"There are still three weeks left. It's not about being optimistic but rather seeing how things are."
