Arsenal monitoring Sebastien Jung

Arsenal are apparently monitoring the progress of Eintracht Frankfurt defender Sebastien Jung, with a view to a bid for his services this summer.  

According to his agent Mino Grillo, the Gunners have been tracking the 23-year-old's performances in recent weeks, and consider him as a possible replacement for veteran defender Bacary Sagna, who looks set to leave the North London club when his contract expires in the summer.

 

This is what Grillo had to say on the transfer link: “In England we know Arsenal are very strongly on his trail for the summer.They have had scouts watching him in the Bundesliga. There is was interest in the past from Inter, Roma and Milan, but no recent contact.”

 

Jung has notched up 6 goals in 27 Bundesliga games for the club this season.
