Lewis Holtby to complete Hamburg loan move
German midfielder Lewis Holtby will complete a season loan transfer to Hamburg today. The Tottenham man has been told he is free to leave by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Holtby spent last season on loan at Fulham and the Cottagers decided against making a permanent move for the midfielder. Therefore, Holtby is now on his way back to his homeland for the 2014/15 campaign.
The midfielder could also make a permanent transfer back to the Bundesliga, as Hamburg have first option on a deal for the central midfielder.
