Burnley complete signing of Manchester City goalkeeper
Burnley have completed the £3.5m transfer of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to Sky Sports. The player has agreed a two-year deal with an option to increase it by an additional year.
Hart agreed personal terms with the club yesterday, and the club have confirmed the move on their official website and twitter account.
After an inconsistent spell with City, Hart is finally moved away from the club. As a City player, he had loan spells at Birmingham City, Italian side Torino and West Ham United.
He made 19 Premier League appearances during his loan spell at West Ham last season, but was not part of England's World Cup squad in Russia. Hart has made 62 appearances for England and 337 for Manchester City.
Hart is Burnley's second signing of the summer after completing the transfer of Ben Gibson from Championship side Middlesbrough for £15.21m.
Burnley will begin their Premier League season with a game against Southampton next Sunday. Burnley are also playing in Europe and are in the third qualifying round of the Europa League where they will face İstanbul Başakşehir.
