Fulham earn incredible victory
Fulham earned a memorable victory and shocked Man City at the City of Manchester Stadium today as they completed a superb 3-2 victory over the Citizens to kick start their relegation survival battle.
Hodgson's men looked as if they were destined for the Championship as they trailed 2-1 to Stephen Ireland and Benjani goals.
Stephen Ireland put Man City 1-0 up in the 10th minute to get them off to a great start.
Darius Vassell then set up a great assist for Benjani to thump the ball home.
Fulham looked desperate and David Healy should've scored but for wonderful shot stopping from Joe Hart in the City goal.
Fulham finally got back into the game with just 20 minutes to go as Murphy's long ball found Diomansy Kamara who shot the ball through Joe Hart's legs.
Michael Ball then cut down Kamara, giving Bullard a great free-kick chance which Hart proved to be the equal of.
Sun Jihai brought down Erik Nevland with 12 minutes left on the clock, up stepped Murphy who shot the ball straight at Joe Hart but he couldn't miss the rebound.
With it all left to play for Fulham went for broke, and Man City stroked clear of the goal with Benjani who missed a great chance to wrap up the game.
Then with last final throw of the dice, Diomansy Kamara burst through to wrap up the 3-2 win and stun Man City and put Fulham in with a chance of survival.
