I want to stay - Larsson
Sebastian Larsson had been one of the best players for Birmingham City this season and the Swedish midfielder said that he will stay with the Blues in spite of their relegation.
Larsson has been a regular in the Blues first team and had scored some crucial goals for them in this season. He was also rated as the most accurate direct free-kick taker in the Premier League. Birmingham's relegation had triggered rumours that the Swedish international would be on the move next season.
The 22-year old has expressed his desire to stay in the club in spite of their relegation. He stated that though it is disappointing to be relegated, it is the players who have to take responsibility and bounce back. He added that he is keen to stay with the club and come back stronger.
"Ever since the new management team have come in, it's felt great. It's felt like we have been moving in the right direction all of the time.We can come back up straight away."
Larsson's declaration will be a great relief to the club and the fans as he has just been voted Birmingham's Player of the Year by both fans and players.
