Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to bag one of the best emerging talents in England, John Bostock, the Crystal Palace midfielder. Bostock has been watched by scouts all over the world including top clubs like Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Chelsea.

John Bostock might be a 16-year old school boy, however he is one of the rising talents in English Football. He became the youngest player of The Eagles last October when he was featured against Watford aged 15 years and 287 days. He turned 16 in January, now able to negotiate a professional contract. It seems that Palace will not be able to keep the player, though they will like him to play for them.

He has a good future says Neil Warnock, "His position will be central midfield, where he can dictate things and decide when to get things going. He has a good touch and good vision" Barcelona have made enquiries and several other top English clubs are reportedly interested in the talented youth.

The wonder-kid play maker is originally from South London and the Spurs interest might tempt him to stay close to his family in the capital. The Spurs director Damien Cornolli is reportedly asked Bostock to leave the Eagles and join White Hart Lane. The Spurs fans will surely be delighted to welcome the home town boy, as they love the club's interest in developing the home-grown talent.

Crystal Palace might allow him to leave the club with no less than £5M plus a bundle of bonus clauses.
