Man Utd eyeing surprise deal for French defender

Manchester United could make a surprise move for Brest defender Bradley Locko this summer.

The Red Devils have had a tough time in the left-back department this term with the injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

The hierarchy are determined to land a new option for the role this summer and Locko is one of the names on their transfer radar.

The 22-year-old has had a fine season with Brest. The Ligue 1 club finished third against the odds to qualify for the Champions League.

Despite this, they are ready to sanction his sale for around €20m and reports claim that United have joined the pursuit of his services.

Locko would be a brilliant signing for United. He has excelled with his tackling and duel winning ability. He also possesses good recovery pace.

The Frenchman has also impressed with his overlapping runs and early crosses into the box. He would be a top-class acquisition.

For the price mentioned, he would be a bargain signing this summer.
