Casemiro breaks silence over his Man Utd future
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has said that he is feeling very well at the club and is not considering a move elsewhere.
The Brazilian has had a difficult second year at the Mancunian giants. He has looked out of depth with his pace and limited mobility.
This has led to suggestions that he could be offloaded to Saudi Arabia this summer, but Casemiro is determined to continue at Old Trafford.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Casemiro said that age is only a number and Thiago Silva has proved that, playing for Chelsea at 39.
He said: "I feel very well, very well. I'm really well, I feel healthy, with energy and the same mentality I always had."
"I guess people end up talking about the age factor, but it's been proven. Recently, our friend Thiago Silva, at the age of 39 coming here and showing that, yes, you can play.
"The previous Ballon d'Or winners were over 34."
United are lining up a move for a new defensive midfielder. Joao Neves is currently the priority target for the Premier League giants.
If the club were to spend big on his services, there is a high possibility that they could open the door for Casemiro's move to Saudi.
