Chelsea want unsettled Robinho
The Real Madrid and Brazilian superstar Robinho tops the summer target for Chelsea. Robinho's agent claimed that he has held initial talks with Chelsea.
Robinho has been clearly undervalued by Real Madrid, and they forgot about the Brazilian in their pursuit for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish club had reportedly suggested for a part exchange move for C. Ronaldo with Robinho being the bait. The football world knows that the Whites are gambling with their superstar and the probability of losing him is more after the player's agent claimed that he has started talks with Chelsea.
Robinho is one of the best forwards in the world and has always shown enough potential and skills than the Portugese star Cristiano Ronaldo. Vagner Ribeiro, his agent, feels the same and declared that his client is not happy to be included in a swap deal for the portugese player.
Chelsea have reportedly offered 28.4M GBP for Robinho, and Ribeiro informed Real Madrid that, unless they take necessary steps to prevent the player from leaving, he will have no choice than to sign for Chelsea.
"It's true that Chelsea are interested in signing Robinho," Ribeiro said.
"They have been after him for a while and there has been much more contact since (Luiz Felipe) Scolari became the new Chelsea coach.
"I met with (Frank) Arnesen in London and he confirmed to me that Chelsea wanted my player for next season."
Robinho has made it clear that he would love to stay at the Bernabeu despite Chelsea's interest in him. But it is sure that unless Real Madrid's attitude towards the player changes, Robinho is set to sign for Chelsea
