Man United eye Sergio Aguero
According to latest reports emanating from England, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is contemplating signing the teenage Argentine international striker Sergio Aguero.
The 19-year old is one of the hottest young properties in the world and was the best for Atletico Madrid last season in La Liga as the Rojiblancos finished fourth in the table.
Aguero has consistently insisted that he is not at all thinking even remotely of a move away from the Calderon this summer and Atletico too have made it clear that they are not listening to any offers for the player.
The Daily Star now reports that Man United manager Sir Alex is heavily inclined to sign the Atletico striker this summer. Sir Alex is supposedly on the hunt for a goalscoring striker and Aguero’s exploits with Atletico in the Primera Liga last season has certainly raised his profile for the Scotsman.
Aguero’s agent too has been coy on his matter. Jose Segui, admitted yesterday: "I have received an offer from an English club who have asked for it to be passed on to Atletico Madrid.
"I can't say anymore until I talk to the club about the offer. I can only say that we are talking about one of the best teams in Europe, but not Chelsea.”
