Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan is relishing the opportunity of returning to England this week, as Liverpool prepare to take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League at Anfield.

"For me to return to England and to play at Anfield will be very special," Forlan said.

"Liverpool are in form at the moment. They are a hard rival but in Madrid we dominated in some phases of the match and that is important ahead of Tuesday's match.

"Atletico go to Anfield with a lot of confidence and without fear. Now we are level with the Reds in the table and we have the same chance to progress.

"It is not easy to win in Liverpool but the players think it is possible if we play our best from the first minute."
